Juvenile suffers life-threatening injuries after Northside shooting

RICHMOND, Va. -- A juvenile male has been hospitalized after a shooting near a playground in Richmond’s Northside Tuesday night.

Police said they received a call for a juvenile shot at 9:20 p.m. at the Lincoln Mews apartment complex in the 4000 block of North Ave.

The juvenile was transported to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Police have not released any information about a suspect in the shooting at this time.
