MIDLOTHIAN, Va. — A growing fitness franchise has announced plans to develop a new location in Midlothian after opening their first Richmond-area location in 2015.
Orangetheory Fitness has announced five new locations are in development in their southern Virginia region. These locations include Midlothian, Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, Newport News, and Virginia Beach.
The new Midlothian location will open this September in The Shoppes at Westchester, followed by a third location in the Near West End. A fourth location is also being considered for the Richmond-area.
“We meet our members wherever they are in their fitness journey and inspire them to be their best self,” said Marilyn Jackson, Studio Manager of the Midlothian location.
This comes after the company’s first location opened in Short Pump in October of 2015.
Orangetheory Fitness Short Pump was voted one of The Best 2016 Boutique Fitness Studios in Richmond by Style Weekly voters in their 3rd month of operation.
Orangetheory’s niche is interval strength and conditioning workouts that emphasize participants’ heart rates. The growing fitness studio has sold more than 800 franchise licenses since 2010.
