Woman shot in Richmond, dropped off at Northside home

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police are investigating after a woman was shot, and then dropped off at a Northside home Monday morning.

Officers responded to the scene in the 2700 block of Woodrow Avenue at around 12:20 a.m., where they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.  

They believe she was dumped there, after being shot at a different location.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
