RICHMOND, Va. — Officials with Hillary Clinton’s campaign say the candidate will campaign in Virginia, North Carolina and later this month.
Organizers said the rally will take place June 21 in Hampton Roads, but they did not specify a location or time.
“The presumptive Democratic nominee will discuss her “vision for an America that is stronger when it is united and lay out what is at stake in November,” according to a statement by Clinton’s campaign.
Clinton will also campaign in Raleigh, NC, on Tuesday and then in Columbus area Wednesday.
This week President Obama and Clinton are planning to appear together in Green Bay, Wisconsin, another city where Obama was popular during his 2008 and 2012 elections. The Wednesday rally will mark the first campaign event in which the two have appeared together since Clinton emerged as the presumptive Democratic nominee.
Obama is expected to visit Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Pennsylvania and other battleground states he carried during his elections, including Colorado, Florida and Michigan.
Donald Trump held a rally in Richmond Friday. He campaigned in Pittsburgh and Tampa Saturday. He also has two rallies scheduled in New Hampshire Monday and an event in Greensboro, NC, Tuesday.
