12 oz. can evaporated milk
2 c. granulated sugar
1 TBS. vanilla extract
1 ½ to 2 C. raw pecans (chopped or halved)
--Mix together milk and sugar heat over medium to high heat, stirring constantly for 45 minutes.
--Add vanilla at the 30-minute mark.
--At end of 45 minutes, stir in pecans
--Remove pan from stove
