RICHMOND, Va. -- A man, shot late Monday night in Richmond's Shockoe Bottom neighborhood, was found lying in the street.
A Richmond ambulance crew assigned to Shockoe Bottom witnessed the shooting and was able to quickly respond to the victim and take him to the hospital.
The shooting was reported just before midnight near the intersection of 18th and East Grace Streets.
Police have not yet discussed a suspect in the shooting, nor what may have sparked the violence.
The shooting victim's condition has also not yet been released.
