Doswell man wanted after 3 injured in graduation party shooting

CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. – Investigators are looking for a Doswell man wanted in connection with a Caroline County shooting where three people were injured over the weekend.

The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office has obtained warrants on Kwumane Goodall, 22. The warrants include possession of a firearm by a felon, three for use of a firearm in commission of felony, three for malicious wounding, and three for reckless handling of firearm.

Goodall is known the frequent the Delmont housing complex in Henrico and other locations around Richmond and Henrico. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Sheriff’s deputies said the incident occurred May 28, at approximately 11:37 p.m. at a graduation party in the 32000 block of Richmond Turnpike.

Investigators said the incident began after part-goers tried to break up a fight between two women and gun shots rang out.

Three people were shot and injured during the incident.

A 17-year-old boy was struck in the foot and a 42-year-old woman was struck in the knee area. They were transported to VCU Medical Center for surgery. Their injuries are non-life-threatening.

A third victim was struck in the thigh area. She was transported to VCU Medical Center for immediate surgery. Her injuries were considered life-threatening, but she is now recovery and listed as critical, but expected to recover.
