Man in bright orange shirt started a fire in Walmart

RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Police Department and Richmond Fire Investigation’s Unit need the public’s help to identify the suspect who lit a fire inside Walmart late last month.

At approximately 12:24 p.m. on April 29, officers responded to a report of arson at Walmart, located at 2401 Sheila Lane.

Surveillance video from the store shows the suspect lit a small fire on a shelf and left the aisle.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” tall with spiky hair. He was wearing a bright orange sweatshirt at the time of the incident.
