RICHMOND, Va. — The entire Entourage is not coming to the Commonwealth, but actor Adrian Grenier will be here. The star of HBO’s Entourage will be in Virginia this summer to film his new movie Public Affairs.

The movie staring Grenier and Mimi Rogers will film in Norfolk starting this June.

The movie’s co-producer, Jeff Frizzell, is from Norfolk.

“I am proud to be able to help bring this feature film to Virginia. Our locations and crew are second to none, and with the extraordinary help of the Virginia Film Office, we were able to make this possible,” Frizzell said.

Another producer, Stephen Israel, also has ties to Hampton Roads.

“I’m particularly excited to be shooting in Norfolk – a homecoming of sorts, having spent my summers here growing up,” Israel said. “Hampton Roads has a broad range of shooting environments, as well as a strong production infrastructure, and I’ve long wanted to bring a production to the area.”

The film industry creates 3,000 jobs and pumps $414 million a year into the state’s economy, according to the governor’s office.
