Man leans over counter, steals cash from Walgreens

RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police are looking for the man who stole money from the Walgreens at 1214 Westover Hills Boulevard in South Richmond. The crime was reported on April 19.

"The suspect approached the register to pay for an item. When the clerk opened the cash drawer, the suspect leans over the counter and grabs an unknown amount of money," police said. "The suspect is described as a black male who wore a blue flat brimmed hat, a gray hoodie with a green block design on the front, a red shirt and blue pants at the time of the incident. He was seen leaving the store in a burgundy-colored sedan."
