TAMPA, Fla. -- A Florida dog has been hailed a hero for potentially saving the life of a little girl.
The German Shepard named Haus jumped in front Molly DeLuca last week when a Diamondback rattlesnake emerged from the family's backyard.
The snake bite Haus three times.

"There's no doubt he was protecting our family," Molly grandmother's said.
The snake pumped so much venom into Haus, the dog has been on a steady drip of anti-venom for days.
Without the treatment, doctors said the venom would have killed Haus within hours of the bites.
Doctors expect Haus to make a full recovery.
