Plane headed to Charlottesville crashes in Mississippi

TUPELO, Mississippi — Four people were aboard a small plane that crashed after take-off Monday morning in Tupelo, Mississippi, according to law enforcement.

The plane, a Beechcraft Bonanza 36, was flying to Charlottesville, Virginia, according to the flight tracking website FlightAware.

Tupelo Police Chief Bart Aguirre told WTVA there were four people on the plane and there were no survivors.

It was reported that three passengers and one pilot were on the plane,  which was registered out of Kerrville, Texas.

The names of the people on the plane have not yet been released.
