"The armed suspects fled the area and responding police officers, canine officers, and a police aerial support plane spotted the individuals nearby, leaving in a vehicle," a Henrico Police spokesman said. "A police pursuit was initiated, however the suspect vehicle lost control, striking several parked vehicles on Nine Mile Road at Dakar Drive before coming to a stop."

Two suspects were detained and taken to the hospital for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

"At this time, there are no additional suspects being sought by police," the police spokesman said.
