RICHMOND, Va - Thursday, May 5th is National Day of Prayer. It's an annual observance that has been held each First Thursday of May for the last 64 years. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of Congress and signed into law by President Harry Truman. The Richmond Coordinator of the event, Minister Alison Baugh talked about the power of prayer. www.ndp-rva.org
