NEWPORT NEWS, Va — Investigators have issued an AMBER alert for a Spokane teen believed to be in Newport News with a man she met online.
Kiera Inman, 16, was last seen on Sunday in North Spokane, according to Q13 in Seattle. She is believed to be with Zachary Jones, 30, who lives in Newport News.
Inman is described as 5-foot-3, 110 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a green cast on her right forearm and wears thick glasses. She is described as “developmentally delayed” and functions at the same level as an 11-year-old. She requires medication.
Jones may be driving a 1997 blue Acura 4-door with Virginia plates VGD-6867.
According to the Amber Alert poster, Inman’s grandmother says she appears to have left willingly, but functions at a diminished capacity and cannot make realistic life choices.
The nature of her relationship with Jones is not clear.
