HENRICO COUNTY, Va -- A man was hospitalized after being shot during a carjacking in Henrico Monday night.

Police were called to the 1500 block of East Laburnum Avenue at around 11:20 Monday night. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Some of the shots ended up hitting the side of Daniel Oliver's home, not far from his bedroom.

"Kinda rough, I tell you," said Oliver. "All the crime going around the city here."

A short time after the crime occurred,  a car matching the description of the stolen vehicle was seen at a gas station on Mechanicsville Turnpike at Cool Lane. Police sources said that a man has been arrested. They also said that the crime was not random.

There is a connection between the victim and suspect, detectives said.

The victim's condition was not known Tuesday morning.
