HENRICO COUNTY, Va -- Five people were hospitalized after a crash on I-95 in Henrico Thursday morning.
The crash happened just before 5:00 a.m. on the interstate's southbound lanes, near the Parham Road exit and the Wilkinson Road overpass. Several cars were involved in the crash.
The extent of the people's injuries was not known. The cause of the crash was also not clear, and remains under investigation.
Crews closed two southbound lanes while they cleared the scene. The lanes reopened after 6:00 Thursday morning.
