CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A Chesterfield woman has been arrested and faces six charges after police say she escaped from the back of a police patrol car Thursday morning.

Police said at around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, they responded to a reported domestic assault in the 6800 block of Amster Road in Chesterfield County.

Tori L. Sellars, 20, was placed into custody for domestic assault and put into a patrol car. Police said as they talked to the male victim, who became uncooperative, Sellars escaped from the car.

Officers conducted a four hour search for Sellars, who was eventually located at the residence where the domestic assault occurred.

She was then arrested again.

Sellars has been charged with unlawful wounding, unlawful use or injury to telephone lines, two counts of petit larceny, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.
