RICHMOND, Va. — Police are investigating after a 20-year-old male was shot late Saturday night.
The incident occurred a little before 11 p.m. on the 4200 block of North Avenue when the victim was shot in the chest by an unknown suspect.
The victim was transported to the 3900 block of North Avenue where the police were called.
He was then taken to VCU Medical Center with injuries that are considered to be life-threatening.
Police are working to identify the suspect.
