RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police are investigating a shooting in Richmond's Fairfield Court neighborhood.
Neighbors at the scene tell CBS 6 the shooting happened at the intersection of Selden and N. 25th right by a kids playground. Neighbors said a birthday party was going on at the time of the shooting, but the two are not related.
Police said they a call came in for shots fired at 5:17pm. Police said a juvenile male suffered at least one gun shot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No suspect is in custody at this time.
