Two hospitalized after car runs off Midlothian Turnpike, overturns

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va -- Two people were hospitalized after their car went off the road and overturned on Midlothian Turnpike.

The crash happened just before 3 a.m. Friday, near where Midlothian Turnpike intersects with Dry Bridge Road.

Police said the driver went off the road and flipped the car.

The driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver has been cited for reckless driving.
