Men crash on Midlothian Turnpike after Chesterfield auto theft

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va -- Four men were arrested after a car theft at a Chesterfield auto dealership. Police were called to an alarm at VA Cars, in the 7700 block of Midlothian Turnpike, at about 1:59 a.m.  When officers arrived, police saw four people driving off in a stolen car.

After leading police on a high-speed chase, the suspects crashed the car on Midlothian Turnpike,  at Arcadia Street, in South Richmond. The four men got out and ran, police said.

Officers caught one of the suspects immediately. Two other suspects were caught by Richmond Police, and the fourth was caught by a Chesterfield officer.

Police have not released details on the charges the men may face.
