CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- One person was taken to the hospital Friday morning after a two-vehicle crash in Chester. The crash closed lanes on Chester Road and Hamlin Creek Parkway for about an hour.
The preliminary investigation revealed a Green Mercury headed south on Chester and was struck by white car coming across to Exxon on Hamlin Creek Parkway. The driver of white Toyota was charged with failure to yield, according to police.
The person in the green Mercury was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash was first reported at about 5:40 a.m.
