HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police arrested a man Friday afternoon after he led police on a short vehicle pursuit before fleeing on foot.
Officials say that 20-year-old Ian Wallace was arrested and charged with felony eluding, misdemeanor suspended license and other traffic violations after he failed to stop when police attempted to pull him over for a traffic infraction on Harvie Road near Croydon Road.
Wallace led police on a short vehicle pursuit before stopping in the area of Sandy Lane and Croydon Road. He then tried to flee on foot before being apprehended on Hunters Mill Place near Sandy Lane.
Wallace was also served with three outstanding warrants related to forgery, uttering and grand larceny.
