People who are born on February 29 find themselves in a strange predicament.
They only get to celebrate their real birthdays every four years.
While Leap Day babies are rare, there are a few here in central Virginia.
We checked in with some local hospital to see how many babies were born Monday.
Henrico Doctor's Hospital said they had 12 babies born this Leap Year. Six Leap Babies were born at VCU Medical. And Johnston Willis hospital welcomed two newborns.
One of them was little Isabella, whose family says they'll come up with a plan on how to celebrate her birthday.
"We're going to have to look it up and see how and when we are going to celebrate it,” she said.
Isabella has an older brother and sister who were excited to meet her.
