COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. — Expect to see an increased police presence outside Colonial Heights High School Wednesday. Vandalism discovered at the high school has prompted the police activity.
“There will be an increased police presence at the high school tomorrow,” principal Kristin Janssen said. “The administrative team is working to get the issue resolved. The High School and authorities are trying to be proactive and ease concerns that may arise. As always, your child’s safety is our top priority.”
The school system did not disclose the nature of the vandalism. Janssen said parents could ask questions of school administrators Tuesday afternoon or first thing Wednesday morning.
