HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A driver had to be cut out of a car before being rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after the vehicle was pinned under a tractor-trailer. The accident happened early Tuesday morning at the intersection of Williamsburg Road and Technology Boulevard.
Crash team investigators are working to determine whether the driver of the car or the driver of the tractor trailer ran the red light and caused the crash.
The road, which was closed following the crash, reopened at about 5:20 a.m.
