RICHMOND, Va. -- Wednesday will be a mostly cloudy, breezy, and much warmer day than today, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. Scattered showers will be possible in the morning and early afternoon, but the best chance of rain will come in the mid to late afternoon hours.
Enough lift and moisture will be present for a few thunderstorms with strong wind gusts to develop. Showers and storms will move east Wednesday night, with only a few lingering showers south and east of Richmond Thursday morning.
Friday through Sunday will be dry and seasonally cool days, with highs in the mid 40s Friday, around 50 Saturday, and into the mid 50s Sunday.
Our weather will become interesting again early next week, as two upper-level storm systems affect the area.
