RICHMOND, Va. -- A storm system currently over the Midwest will bring light rain to the area early Wednesday morning. The rain could mix with or change to snow briefly before ending, but at this time, little to no accumulation is expected.

The weather will remain dry for the remainder of the week into the weekend, with a big warm-up Saturday through Tuesday. A coastal storm will develop on Friday, but the track continues to appear too far east for any precipitation in Virginia.
