HENRICO, Va — Firefighters battled a house fire in Henrico’s East End for hours Sunday night.
Crews were called to the 100 block of North Pine Avenue, off Nine Mile Road, at around 10:30 Sunday night. Smoke had been reported in the area.
When they arrived, firefighters found a one-story home with smoke coming out of it. Crews made their way inside and found a fire in the crawl space and attic.
After several hours, firefighters were able to put the fire out.
No one was inside at the time of the fire, and no one was hurt, either. One person was displaced, though.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
