COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. — Colonial Heights Police is searching for a man that has been missing since January 1, 2016. Matthew Nichols, 58, was last seen at Wawa in the 600 block of Boulevard in Colonial Heights on January 1.
Police say the man said he was going to the Appomattox River to go fishing, but haven’t made any contact with family or friends since.
Nichols was last seen wearing blue jeans, an AC/DC T-shirt, a heavy Tr. 66 coat, and a baseball cap. He was also carrying a tackle box and fishing pole.
