RICHMOND, Va. -- After some bad economic numbers from China which sent Asian stock markets plummeting, Wall Street took a tumble as well, finishing Monday’s opening 2016 session with a drop of 1.5-2%.
The sell-out faded during the course of the day, allowing the market to recover from the day’s steepest declines.
But after a flat 2015, the jolt investors took Monday was disconcerting.
