RICHMOND, Va. — You can track Santa’s progress around the World this Christmas Eve, thanks to The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

Norad is currently tracking Santa’s flight, which is already underway on the other side of the globe.

This year, like every year, they are getting a little help from the Richmond Ambulance Authority.

Rob Lawrence with the RAA told CBS 6 what his crews are ready and willing to do once Santa reaches Central Virginia.

“We track Santa because once midnight comes and he’s transits through the Richmond area we are on hand to provide EMS, which is emergency medicine for Santa and of course CPR, which is complete protection for reindeer, we take that responsibility very seriously,” said Lawrence with a smile.
