RICHMOND, Va. -- All month long, members of the CBS 6 news team will be in the community, helping people through random acts of kindness. Anchor and reporter Tracy Sears selected a cause close to her heart in honor of her late friend and colleague, Stephanie Rochon. Tracy's act of kindness brought a smile to women receiving treatment for cancer this holiday season. Watch the video above to see Tracy surprise patients Roberta and Lilley with a beautiful angel necklace.

Tracy, a cancer survivor, said she was inspired by her sister Kelly, her colleague Jenny, and their team at Stella and Dot. For the past five years, they have donated beautiful jewelry for patients at Massey Cancer Center. Additionally, Tracy and her colleagues held a Stella and Dot trunk show to raise money for cancer research in September . The group presented Massey with a check for $800 in Stephanie's memory on Thursday.

We hope those who are helped will be inspired to pay it forward. If you've been inspired to pay it forward, click here to share your story.
