RICHMOND, Va. -- Laura French surprised a woman in line at a Kroger in Richmond when she announced she would pay her grocery bill. All month long, the CBS 6 news team will be in the community, helping people through random acts of kindness. We hope those who are helped will be inspired to pay it forward. "I appreciate it," the woman said as she gave Laura a hug.

"The only thing that we ask is that you pay it forward," Laura explained. "When you have it in your heart to pay it forward, we ask that you pay it forward."
