CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Thousands of runners laced up their shoes to participate in the third annual CarMax Tacky Light Run sponsored by Sports Backers Saturday evening.

As fake snow cascaded from starting line, racers dressed as Christmas trees, elves and even holiday packages set off for the 6K (3.72-mile) holiday-themed fun run.

It was a warm night to run or walk while perusing out some stunning holiday lights in the gorgeous Walton Park neighborhood.

The race started on Woodlight Road near the Midlothian Mines Park.
