KING WILLIAM, Va. – A teen was struck by a car at the entrance to King William High School.
The 14-year-old high school student was struck by a car around 3:20 p.m. Thursday, according to Sgt. Steve Vick, with Virginia State Police.
The male student was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital. According to police, his injuries are non-life threatening.
State police said their investigation revealed that the 14-year-old student ran across the street into the path of a 2010 Ford F-150 driven by a 16-year-old girl. The driver was not injured. They said this was a school zone and the school lights were activated.
There are no charges in the crash.
