RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Police battled a fire in the 1100 block of Althea Parkway, not far from the Richmond-Henrico Turnpike.
Crews arrived to find a vacant home burning. There was heavy smoke and fire coming from the second floor.
Richmond marked the fire under control just after 5 p.m., Monday.
