HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A police officer and at least one other person were taken to the hospital following a crash early Friday morning in Henrico's West End. The two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Skipwith Road and Hungary Spring Road, near Skipwith Elementary School, was reported at about 5:05 a.m.
Police said the officer was responding to a call for a fight in the area when the accident occurred. The officer and the driver of the other vehicle were treated and released from the hospital Friday morning, police said.
The wreck remains under investigation, but police said at this point no charges have been filed.
