CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- There were long lines outside a Chester dentist's office who offered free services for folks who do not have insurance and could not afford to pay for dental care.
Father and son dentists doctor team Tony and John Agapis of Chester Family Dentistry and their crew of volunteer dentists, hygienists and dental assistants performed everything from teeth cleaning to cavity fillings Friday.
When a WTVR CBS 6 crew showed up to their office on Osborne Road, there was line outside the practice.
“We have about five volunteer dentists that help us out, as well hygienists and about 30 dental assistants. And they're all volunteering their time today,” said Tony Agapis, DDS.
Patients started lining up around midnight last night for the care.
The office said they have been holding "dentistry from the heart" events for the past ten years.
