SLIDELL, La. – A Louisiana car wash manager had the scare of his life when he got stuck on a huge rotating brush.
It happened when manager Josh Hood was cleaning up with a hose at the Pitstop Car Wash in Slidell. That’s when the brush caught the hose and Hood with it.
It took him for a terrifying spin that lasted for less than 30 seconds, but must have seemed like forever.
Hood said the hose actually wrapped around him, hog-tying him to the rotating brush. Finally, the brush spit him out on the ground. He said that neither he nor the brush suffered serious consequences.
“Just a little road rash on my knees,” he said. “I laughed about it immediately after.”
Hood said the experience was scary.
“I was in the military and that was scarier than anything I’ve been through in the military,” he said. “I thought I was gonna hit steel poles around it as I was spinning.”
