RICHMOND: Helicopter, Tanks & Trucks Military Vehicle Fair - For the first time the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10657 in Ashland and the Virginia Military Vehicle Association are sponsoring a Military Vehicle Fair Saturday, November 14, from 9am - 5pm. The event features a Huey Gunship Helicopter, M20 Armored Scout Car with a .50 caliber machine gun ring with driver and crew protected by armored plates - WWI, a T34 Russian Tank, M38 Jeep - Korea, 151 Jeep & Mule - Vietnam, and other Military equipment from WWI WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm.
Many of the vehicles have been restored by members of the VAMVA and have been seen throughout Richmond. Children and adults will be able to touch, feel and climb aboard many of the equipment and members will be on hand to answer questions and share stories.
