RICHMOND, Va. — No one was hurt after a car burst into flames on I-95 north in Richmond Sunday afternoon.
VDOT reported the incident happened around 5 p.m. at mile marker 73.
Sam Jackson was headed south on the interstate when he snapped photos of the fire.
“I got on 95 at Maury Street. I saw the black smoke while waiting at the traffic light and got my phone ready,” he told WTVR CBS 6.
Sgt. Steve Vick with Virginia State Police said no one was injured.
The accident was cleared by 5:15 p.m.
