RICHMOND, Va. — Police are on the scene investigating an accident between a van and a moped at the intersection of Chamberlayne Pkwy. and W. Charity St. in Richmond’s Gilpin Court.
Police arrived to the scene at 4:36 p.m., where a man was injured on top of the van. In addition, the moped was found pinned underneath the van.
A witness told CBS 6 the man who was hit on the moped looked to be in pain and was “calling out to God.” The witness said paramedics arrived shortly after police to help treat the injured man.
His condition is unknown at this time.
