RICHMOND, Va. — Fresh off his appearance on American Idol, Richmond’s own Rayvon Owen is scheduled to perform at the 32nd annual Dominion Christmas Parade. Owen, a Henrico High School graduate, will serve as the official Master of Ceremonies and will perform throughout the parade on the Macy’s float.
“He is an excellent example of what it means to represent the City of Richmond well,” parade chair Robert Kelly said.
In addition to Owen, the parade will feature the Harlem Globetrotters, college marching bands, characters from the new Star Wars movie, princesses from your favorite children’s movies and of course the Legendary Santa.
The parade will broadcast live on Saturday, December 5 on WTVR CBS 6.
