CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Time magazine has published its list of the 30 most influential teens of the year and a Richmond teen has made the list.
Cosby High School student William Turton was featured for his articles on "The Daily Dot," a website that covers news about internet culture.
This summer, Turton broke news of cyber-attacks on the websites of Planned Parenthood and New York Magazine.
He has also got an exclusive interview with the Lizard Squad hacking collective, who was behind the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live breaches in 2014.
Turton got his start by writing video game reviews at the age of 14. He has said he'd rather spend his free time cultivating sources than going to school dances.
Turton joined teens including Malia Obama, Zendaya, and Bindi Irwin on the list.
