KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A 15-year-old Kansas City girl was left bloodied and beaten by other children and another child's mother -- and it was all recorded on a cellphone.

Jordan Koontz said she was attacked at Winner Park near Interstate 435 and Highway 24 on Sept. 17.

KCTV reportsan Independence mother and her son are charged with assault and robbery. A third girl seen in the video also beating Jordan has not been charged.

"Do it more. Again. Beat the (expletive) out of her," someone is heard on the video saying.

Jordan's mother said her daughter's so-called friends wanted to stop to smoke a cigarette, but when they got out, they instead grabbed her and beat her to the ground.

"Do it more. Again. Beat the (expletive) out of her," someone is heard on the video saying.

Jordan told her mother she'd be home by 11 p.m. The attack happened about 2 a.m.

"I kept calling and calling and calling and it kept going straight to voicemail," mother Karla Koontz said.

Jordan was at an apartment on South Oxford Avenue near East 35th Street with her friend Nicole and 17-year-old Shane Shafer. She said Shafer's mother wanted her gone and was driving her home, but took a detour to Winner Park.

Jordan said the woman heard barking orders is Shane Shafer's mother, Shelly Mathews. Her son is holding the camera.

"Beat her Nicole. Beat the (expletive)," the woman says. "Beat her (expletive) Nicole. Kick her in the face. Stomp her (expletive) face."

Jordan's attackers stole her cell phone. She told her mother she was beaten for sitting next to Mathews' son.

"I just…It's just crazy," Koontz said. "It was over a boy. The mother's boy. He's 17."

In the video, the boy's mother accuses Jordan of doing more than just sitting on the couch.

"That's what you get for (expletive) my son," the mother is heard allegedly saying.

Mathews and her son weren't home when KCTV crews stopped by on Thursday.

"That's not how you raise children. You don't teach your children to go out and beat up other people," Koontz said.

It took over a month to get charges filed against the mother and her 17-year-old son because the video only surfaced a week ago.

The suspects were charged Thursday. The mother is out of jail on bond. The teen was processed through the juvenile system, so his case is sealed.
