CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — An investigation is underway after a fatal accident involving a pedestrian along Hull Street Road Friday morning.
Chesterfield police said the accident happened in the 12000 block of Hull Street Road around 7 a.m.
Officials said a man was crossing Hull Street Road when he was hit by a vehicle traveling west.
The pedestrian was transported to Chippenham Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Officers said the victim’s name will be released pending next-of-kin notification.
