RICHMOND, Va. -- Folks rolled up their sleeves and volunteered to clean up parks for the 8th annual HandsOn Day in Richmond Saturday.
The event will bring 65 nonprofit organizations and More than 1,000 volunteers spent the morning working across the city with 65 nonprofit organizations.
Teams from WTVR CBS 6 took part in the event by working in Monroe, Lombardy and Meadow parks. Familiar faces included Candace Burns, Zach Daniel, Nikki-Dee Ray, Kristen Leuhrs and Melissa Hipolit.
