CHESTERFIELD, Va — Traffic was backed up at least two miles Tuesday morning after a car fire on Route 288 near Midlothian.
Crews closed the right lane and the right shoulder at mile marker 20, near the Midlothian Turnpike exit. There was a two-mile backup as of 7:13 Tuesday morning.
